the two sides further deepened the cooperation relationship in 2019, and the cooperation project expanded from the previous body assembly 

cooperation to the chassis body vehicle manufacturing cooperation. On October 28, 2019, Mr. Luo Zhihui, Chairman of Zhuhai Guangtong Vehicle Manufacturing Co., Ltd. 

and Mr. Steve Campbell (now Mr. Chris Mellon), former Operations manager of ADAP Zhuhai Branch, officially signed a chassis cooperation agreement based on the original body 

cooperation agreement in Zhuhai. Since then, Zhuhai Guangtong Vehicles has successively obtained orders for a series of vehicle models from ADAP,

 including the L504 model launched this time.

In the process of preparing for the chassis cooperation project, Zhuhai Guangtong Vehicles established a modern chassis production 

workshop with a total area of 6000 m², and organized a high-quality professional chassis production team with an average experience 

of more than 10 years. After intensive training and learning, the chassis production team demonstrated their excellent professional skills 

and ability to analyze and solve problems to the Chassis skills training and technical support team at ADAP UK headquarters in Alexandria 

Dennis Group.

Affected by the new coronavirus epidemic, the experienced production team still went through many difficulties in the production process. 

First of all, ADAP's head office technical support failed to start as scheduled. Alexander Dennis Group originally planned to send six technicians 

from the UK group headquarters to Zhuhai to guide the production team of Zhuhai Guangtong Vehicles to jointly produce the first prototype car. 

After the outbreak of the new coronavirus, the world strictly guarded the door, the United Kingdom a wide range of shutdown and production, resulting 

in British technicians not only failed to come to Zhuhai to provide on-site technical support, and even to provide online services can not be guaranteed. 

In addition, with the global supply chain blocked or even collapsed, the supply of chassis and body production materials was also tight.

The long wind and waves will sometimes hang the cloud sail to the sea. With the concerted efforts of Zhuhai Guangtong and ADAP Zhuhai technicians, 

the two sides overcame many difficulties and difficulties and successfully delivered two L504 vehicles to Hong Kong Citybus customers on December 23, 2020. 

The L504 vehicle cooperation project completed the first delivery on time under the situation of the epidemic, which is another milestone in the more than ten years 

of cooperation between Zhuhai Guangtong Vehicles and ADAP. Zhuhai Guangtong once again demonstrated to customers the company's strong strength in the field 

of bus and bus production, which also marked the further improvement and maturity of Zhuhai Guangtong in the manufacturing technology and products of bus and bus.
